We had a baby
- My partner and I welcomed a new baby boy into our family in August 2024. We're loving watching him learn and grow.
Graduated from Doctor of Pharmacy program at UofT
- After a few years of study, I've completed the post-bacc PharmD program at UofT in June 2024. Great to finish this up. Now working on applying the experience to elevate my pharmacy practice and patient care.
Developing the functionality of my self-hosted services
- Based on Derek Sivers' Tech Independence, I deployed a VM that serves my website, email, contacts, calendar. I've made some notes about the setup experience here.
- While initial setup is completed and stable, I am currently working to expand my knowledge of the services, gain confidence using command-line tools, and expanding functionality. This project has sparked an interest in self-hosting more broadly.
- Along these lines, I've purchased and setup a Synology NAS for the home which is serving as a homelab for other self-hosted applications and utilities.
- More recently, I've implemented a more powerful home server - The 45HomeLab HL4 produced here in Sydney NS by 45Drives.
